Recently Lynnie and I made the 2004 mile treck back across the country from Fitchburg, MA to Fort Collins, CO. Prior to this, as a joke gift, I bought my dad a muscular little wrestler guy in a speedo for xmas for $3 bucks (great buy). His name? Striker. Soon after the presentation of Striker, it dawned on me that it was completely necessary to bring this little bastard across the country with me, fixing him in various positions and photographing him along the way. Unfortunately we ran into a bit of weather, a blizzard stretching 300 miles from Colorado across much of Nebraska. Needless to say, the dozens of jack-knifed tractor trailors and inverted vehicles distracted us a bit from our task at hand. But we made it, photos were taken, and this is The Cross Country Tour from MA to CO as presented by STRIKER (sponsored by speedo).
